Who are they:
Highland (your enemy) army commanders from the game Suikoden II. You meet them in the first army battle. No last names are given for them. Culgan is 29 years old; Seed is 26.

Why we like them:
From the first time you see them, you have to wonder what's going on. Seed is all "yeah, let's finish them off!" and Culgan is being careful. Seed thinks he's boring. Aww, really now, Seed. Wonder if he's boring... anywhere else? You would know, of course.

Yes, the generic hotblooded vs. calm archetypes, right there. The game makes it clear enough they're mostly perfect opposites, but... They do say opposites attract each other, don't they? Not to mention, these two make a great team, in battle or on the field. Aside from one single incident (when Culgan shows up to talk to you, sent by Jowy), they are always seen together in the game. So, live together, and... let's not go there. Everyone knows what happens to these two in the end, huh? They are, after all, the second last bosses.

Together. In the scene where they pledge loyalty to Jowy, they are saying "we" all the time. A-ha, so it's we then? Heh.

No idea why we ended up liking them, really. They are just attractive as characters. They're loyal to Highland, and by the looks of it, to each other.

Our setting:
Our fic settings vary, really. There's one in the "Unusual Bet" series, but that's just one possibility. We usually go by the lines, "Culgan met young Seed in the library once, helped him with something, and they just ended up liking each other" or similar.
